FORT TRYON CLOISTERS
This building located at Fort Tryon Park combines elements from medieval French cloisters.
The Cloisters offers a wonderful museum experience, enveloping visitors in a the medieval ages. Gardens, tapestries, paintings and the cloisters themselves represent the diverse array of art that was created during this time, and the beautiful setting of Fort Tyron Park further enhances the visit.
The Cloisters Admission Price:
- Adults $20; seniors $15; students $10
- Admissions prices are "suggested donations"
- Same-day admission to the Metropolitan Museum of Art main building is included

- March - October: Tuesday - Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
- November - February: Tuesday - Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
- Closed Monday, January 1, Thanksgiving Day and December 25
THE FORT TRYON PARK
The park is a 67 acre or 270,000 square mile ridge in Upper Manhattan, and offers visitors a spectacular view of the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge, the Ney Jersey Palisades, and the Harlem River.
